Entering July, Chinese domestic magnesia market showed no improvements and Chinese magnesia smelters kept low operation rate to meet the sluggish market. Refractory market also met difficult period influenced by the quiet steel market and gloomy economy. As for magnesia export market, European consumers were in summer holiday and they were not anxious to place orders in July. With rare orders, Chinese magnesia export prices kept in a downward trend in July.
