Selenium market moves downward relatively slowly in early June after the fast decrease in prices throughout May. With supply of selenium becoming tight, selenium and selenium dioxide suppliers raised their offers around Dragon Boat Festival (10th-12th, June), while under the pressure of dull demand from downstream market, selenium market is lacking support to continue its upward movement and becomes quiet again in late June. China imported 158t of selenium in May which makes participants losing confidence in the future market. Tellurium suppliers continue to lower their offers in June as refrigeration market enters off season gradually in summer and downstream demand will decrease.
