Influenced by the sluggish demand, both the Chinese domestic and international cadmium ingot prices go down in June. Chinese domestic cadmium ingot prices go down from RMB18-18.5/kg (USD2.89-2.97/kg) to RMB17.5-18/kg (USD2.81-2.89/kg). Consumers show interest in watching the market and reduced their procurement. International cadmium ingot prices also decreased from USD1.10-1.15/lb to USD1.05-1.10/lb and still showing downward trend.
Most of the downstream industry is in slow demand, and consumers take purchase from hand to mouth and keep stock as little as possible. Producers arrange their production according to the orders. It is predicted that in the near future the cadmium ingot market will go steadily.
