Prices of electrical steel in Chinese prevailing markets decreased greatly this month. On one hand, prevailing electrical steel producers including WISCO, Baosteel, and Ansteel all decreased list prices greatly. On the other hand, demand from downstream industries showed no signs of releasing. On the contrary, it weakened with time went on. Since July is the traditional slow season for electrical steel industry, insiders believe market prices will decrease further next month.
