    Chinese domestic market review

Price reductions of coking coal from domestic major mines declined in May, which weakened the support of coke costs, while coke prices just dropped slightly as prices of steel kept stable in learly May. Coke prices slid down significantly with greatly declining steel prices due to disconfirmed expectancy of policies in late May, and some companies depleted stocks with low prices at the end of the month.
