This month, prices of HGI coil in Chinese prevailing markets like Tianjin and Guangzhou recorded a downward trend and those in Shanghai tended to be stable generally. Though prices of raw materials like iron ore were still decreasing and major steel mills announced to lower ex-works prices of HGI for May production, insiders deem prices of HGI coil have been at the bottom and will hardly fluctuate in the following month.
