As demand from downstream industries kept weak, Chinese molybdenum market was largely in downtrend in March. In the end of this month, impacted by the positive movement in European molybdenum market, the falling trend stopped and the market saw more inquiries and deals, while the market did not rebound. In this month, mainstream prices fell down by RMB140/mtu (USD1.03/Ib) for molybdenum concentrate and RMB13,000/t (USD3.5/kg Mo) for ferromolybdenum 60%.
