Chinese tantalum and niobium market still holds the sideways trend this month, with the tantalum and niobium concentrate prices keeping firm, especially the tantalum concentrate prices, due to the tight supply. Domestic plants are still willing to take purchase of raw materials, while affected by the dim downstream demand, so they do not place orders actively. Niobium concentrate prices keep firm, while the niobium oxide demand keeps slow, but niobium bar and niobium ingot products demand keeps strong.
