1. Financial review
1.1 HSBC announced on Monday that the Manufacturing PMI in China reached 51.6 in March, reducing slightly compared with the preliminary data of 51.7 and increasing compared to 50.4 in February, and the index maintained at over 50 for 5 consecutive months.
1.2 Data provided by National Bureau of Statistics of China noted: The crude steel daily output recorded new high in February with 2.208Mt; the latest data indicated that the output in February amounted to 61.83Mt, increasing by 7.6% compared to January and by 9.8% compared to the same period in 2012. The daily output recorded new high in this month with 9.4% of increase year on year.
