Prices of stainless scrap kept going down slightly in the first three weeks due to the poor market performance as well as the frequent price fluctuation of nickel, though they rebounded slightly in the fourth week, the market continued to run slowly. Because of insufficient orders for finished stainless steel products, downstream foundries were reluctant to build large stocks. Regarding the coming market, most participants showed no confidence. Insiders deem the price is likely to keep the downward trend in April.
