Selenium market remains stable after the Spring Festival holidays (Feb 9th to Feb 15th) after the decrease in prices before the holidays. More manganese smelters are supposed to reopen in March with increase in manganese prices, and most selenium dioxide suppliers intend to raise their offers. However demand from downstream market remains dull and domestic market is in oversupply with over 140t of import volume in January, so it is hard for selenium market to improve as usual. Tellurium prices remain stable after the Spring Festival holidays. End users still hold back from purchasing material and demand from downstream market remains dull.
