Annette and Niels released the update on Rainbow Rare Earth Project in Burundi saying that the project goes well now. The content of rare earth oxides is 54% of the rare earth concentrate and Thyssenkrupp Raw Materials GmbH plans to achieve an annual capacity of 5,000 metric tons within two years, which will likely increase to 10,000 metric tons. The company has established cooperative relationships with some Chinese enterprises and sold out its rare earth concentrate. Eric Qiu introduced the information of China's rare earth concentrate imports in H1 2018. Both sides expressed opinions about REACH registration in European rare earth market, influence of the trade friction between USA and China and rare earth price trend in H2 2018. In addition, Niels also gave a feedback on the use of Asian Metal's website and put forward suggestions for the International Rare Earth Summit to be held in 2019.
