    POSCO visits Asian Metal

On the afternoon of December 13th, Doctor Soohang Park from POSCO Research Center, and Huang Yingling from Raw Material Department of POSCO (China) Investment Co., Ltd. visited Asian Metal. During the visit, Doctor Soohang Park had a deep discussion with Silence Chen and Iris He, market analysts of Asian Metal, mainly about the status quo and the prospect of the Chinese market of industrial raw materials such as magnesia and graphite as well as other refractory materials, as well as the reason for the change of the market. Asian Metal made related description combining overseas magnesia and graphite resources. During the meeting, Silence Chen also noted that the levy of environmental protection tax and the environmental inspection policies in 2018 might affect prices for raw materials.
Furthermore, Asian Metal noted that the Refractories & Abrasives Summit will be held in Beijing from April 19th to 20th, 2018, inviting POSCO to attend the summit and give a report.
