On March 12, the world's first production line which produces cathode material precursor for new energy vehicle battery by manganese sulfide slag was officially put into operation in Guizhou Dalong Huicheng New Materials Co., Ltd., marking that the "manganese slag comprehensive utilization demonstration project " of the company was put into full operation.
The project has two sub-projects; One of which using leached manganese slag to prepare cement additive was put into operation in 2018. So far, the project has consumed nearly 300,000 tons of manganese slag.
