Shandong LBM to build 150ktpy battery-grade iron phosphate project

Lopal Tech announced on October 30 that its second-tier controlling subsidiary, Shandong LBM Tech. Co., Ltd., plans to invest in the "Shandong LBM LP-15 Project." The initiative aims to secure internal supplies of iron phosphate, stabilize the supply chain, reduce procurement costs, and ensure the production capacity of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode materials.
Located in the Juancheng County Chemical Industrial Park in Shandong Province, the project will feature a 150,000 tpy battery-grade iron phosphate production line. The total investment is estimated at approximately RMB941.61 million (USD141.15 million), with a construction period of 12 months. Construction is expected to commence in January 2027.
