Zijin Mining reports main product output for Q1-Q3

According to its quarterly report, Zijin Mining produced 70,130kg of mine-produced gold in the first three quarters of 2026, up 7.98% year on year. Mine-produced copper output reached 815,721 tonnes, down 1.71% (including 84,509 tonnes attributable to the Kamoa project). Excluding Kamoa, the company's copper output stood at approximately 730,000 tonnes, representing a 6% year-on-year increase on a like-for-like basis.
During the same period, output of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) surged 548.46% year on year to 79,145 tonnes (including approximately 10,000 tonnes from Zangge Mining). Molybdenum output rose 23.22% to 10,691 tonnes, while silver output increased 3.90% to 348,413kg. Mine-produced zinc output was 257,658 tonnes, down 4.97% year on year. Refined copper output decreased 6.72% to 497,403 tonnes, and refined zinc output fell 11.77% to 263,745 tonnes.
In the third quarter alone, the company produced 23,428kg of mine-produced gold, 281,313 tonnes of mine-produced copper, 35,549 tonnes of LCE, 4,389 tonnes of molybdenum, and 119,190 kg of silver. Q3 mine-produced zinc output reached 80,736 tonnes, alongside 152,608 tonnes of refined copper and 79,984 tonnes of refined zinc.
