XTC (Yaan) to build 40ktpy lithium iron phosphate (manganese) project

XTC New Energy announced on October 26 that its controlling subsidiary, XTC New Energy Materials (Yaan) Co., Ltd., plans to invest in a new phase IV production line for lithium iron phosphate (manganese) (LFP/LMFP) materials with an annual capacity of 40,000 tonnes.
The new project involves an estimated total investment of approximately RMB723 million (USD108.45 million), with a construction period of 18 months.
Currently, XTC (Yaan) has an existing LFP production capacity of 40,000 tonnes per year and is constructing its phase III project, which also has an annual capacity of 40,000 tonnes of LFP/LMFP. Once all these projects are completed, the subsidiary's total LFP/LMFP capacity is expected to reach 120,000 tonnes per year.
