Tianjin Xilian starts building rare earth secondary resource utilization project

On October 20, Tianjin Xilian Circular Technology Co., Ltd. started construction on its 80,000tpy rare earth secondary resource comprehensive utilization project in the Baodi Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City.
Covering 140 mu, the project will be able to process 80,000 tonnes of NdFeB scrap annually once completed. It is designed to produce 15,000 tonnes of high-purity rare earth oxides, 3,000 tonnes of high-purity rare earth metals and 3,000 tonnes of green NdFeB magnetic materials per year.
When fully operational, the project is expected to generate annual output value of RMB9 billion (RMB1.35 billion) and annual tax revenue of RMB180 million (USD26.98 million), while creating 600 new jobs.
