China Rare Earth Nonferrous Metals announced on September 28 that it will inject RMB306 million (USD45.65 million) of its own funds into its wholly-owned subsidiary, Guangdong Shengyuan Permanent Magnet Material Co., Ltd. Following the capital increase, the company will continue to hold 100% of Shengyuan Permanent Magnet's equity, which remains a wholly-owned subsidiary.
Shengyuan Permanent Magnetserves as the company's core platform for its high-performance magnetic materials business. The capital injection is expected to optimize Shengyuan Permanent Magnet's capital structure, effectively mitigate risks from its high debt levels, and strengthen the foundation for the business's development.
