Large LFP cathode project starts production at Deyang-Aba Industrial Park

On September 10, the first batch of products rolled off the line at Zone B of Sichuan Fulin New Materials' 350,000tpy new-energy lithium battery cathode materials project in the Deyang-Aba Ecological Economic Industrial Park in Mianzhu, Sichuan Province.
The project is jointly invested by Fulin Precision and CATL. Zone A has already been completed and reached full production, while Zone B is expected to complete capacity ramp-up and reach full production within this month.
The project will produce 350,000tpy of new high-compaction lithium iron phosphate (LFP), enough for the power batteries of about 1.4 million pure electric sedans. At current prices, its output value is estimated at about RMB18 billion (USD2.68 billion).
