Shida Shinghwa announced on September 3 that its controlling subsidiary, Shinghwa New Material Technology (Lianjiang) Co., Ltd., plans to invest in and construct a 200,000tpy lithium battery electrolyte project.
The project will be located at the Kepu Port New Energy Industrial Park in Kengyuan Town, Lianjiang County, Fujian Province. Covering an area of 100,003 square meters, the facility is expected to have a construction period of 12 months, with a total estimated investment of RMB687 million (USD102.28 million).
