The Sanming Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau officially approved the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for the construction project of Fujian Sanming Runxiang New Materials Co., Ltd. to produce lithium hexafluorophosphate and electronic grade lithium (sodium) fluoride.
The project will be carried out within the company's existing plant site in the Sanming Jikou Circular Economy Industrial Park (a designated chemical industrial cluster). As part of a technical upgrade and expansion, the plan includes the installation of production lines for lithium and sodium fluorides as well as lithium hexafluorophosphate, alongside a reconfiguration of the existing water based high reflectivity ink production line.
Upon completion, the project is expected to produce a total of 1,000tpy of electronic grade lithium fluoride and sodium fluoride, along with 500tpy of lithium hexafluorophosphate, while generating hydrochloric acid as a byproduct.
