Do-Fluoride New Materials Co., Ltd. announced on July 9 that it will extend the timeline for its 100,000tpy Lithium Battery Electrolyte Key Materials Project to reach its anticipated operational status--from November 30, 2026 to November 30, 2027--while keeping the project implementation entity, execution approach, use of raised funds, and total investment scale unchanged.
The company raised funds through a private placement in 2023, securing net proceeds of RMB1.988 billion (USD293.04 million), of which RMB1.488 billion (USD219.34 million) was earmarked for the electrolyte key materials project. The project carries a total investment of RMB5.15 billion (USD759.13 million). As of the end of 2025, RMB545 million (USD80.34 million) had been deployed, representing 36.65% of the total investment progress.
Within the 100,000tpy project, the 20,000tpy lithium hexafluorophosphate production line has seen all plant buildings completed, supporting utilities fully constructed, and all equipment delivered to the site and now in the installation phase.
The delay is attributed to evolving market supply-demand dynamics, industry developments, and technological advancements. The company has prudently adjusted its investment pace and slowed project implementation accordingly. Moving forward, Do-Fluoride will continue to advance the project in line with market trends and its actual operating conditions to ensure steady and orderly progress.
