Jintong Xuneng New Energy's lithium battery new materials project receives EIA approval

The Quanzhou Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment officially released the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for the phase I project of Quanzhou Jintong Xuneng New Energy Co., Ltd., which will produce 30,000tpy of new lithium battery materials.
Located in the Xianjing Area of the Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park, the project will feature a 30,000tpy lithium carbonate production line, along with supporting facilities including a lithium carbonate workshop, sodium sulfate workshop, purification workshop, leaching workshop, and associated auxiliary infrastructure.
Upon completion, the facility is expected to produce 30,000tpy of battery-grade lithium carbonate and 94,752tpy of anhydrous sodium sulfate as a by-product.
