On June 8, the Department of Natural Resources of Jiangxi Province issued a public notice announcing the legal revocation of the "Construction Project Land Pre-approval and Site Selection Opinion" numbered YONGZI DI No. 3609002025XS0001571. According to the notice, the revocation was carried out following an application filed by Yichun Era New Energy Mining Co., Ltd., and in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Administrative Licensing Law of the People's Republic of China. The document has been invalidated effective immediately.
Yichun Era New Energy Mining Co., Ltd., an indirect subsidiary of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL), holds the exploration rights for the Jianxiawo Lithium Mine. The project's initial environmental impact assessment report indicated a planned mining production scale of 30 million tons per year, with an average lithium oxide feed grade of 0.28%.
