Fengyuan Chemial to expand LFP production capacity

Shandong Fengyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. has announced plans to raise up to RMB1.428 billion (USD211.33 million). Of the total proceeds, RMB700 million (USD103.59 million) will be allocated to the expansion and upgrade of its 100,000tpy high-performance lithium battery lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material project, while RMB300 million (USD44.40 million) will be used for a separate 50,000tpy high-performance LFP cathode material production line. The remaining RMB428 million (USD63.34 million) will be directed toward replenishing working capital.
Once the two production capacity projects are completed, the company's Yuxi base will reach a total LFP cathode material capacity of 200,000tpy, further strengthening Fengyuan's core position in the lithium battery cathode material sector.
