Sinomine Resources (Jiangxi) Lithium Co., Ltd. has recently received official approval from the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology to establish the "Jiangxi Provincial Technology Innovation Center for Rare Metal Metallurgy and Materials."
Leveraging Sinomine Lithium's industrial strengths and backed by the cutting-edge technical expertise of Central South University, the innovation center will focus on strategic rare metals including lithium, rubidium, cesium, tantalum, niobium, gallium, and germanium. Covering the entire industry chain--from exploration and mineral processing to metallurgy and materials--the center will prioritize breakthroughs in key technologies such as efficient separation of complex ores, phase transformation and enhanced extraction, deep separation of similar elements, high-purity material preparation, and collaborative integration across the industrial chain. These efforts aim to accelerate the translation of scientific research into industrial applications, promote industrial-scale adoption, and drive coordinated growth across upstream and downstream clusters.
