Baotou Rare Earth Products Exchange (Rare Earth Exchange) recently completed an online competitive bidding procurement transaction for NdFeB magnets, marking a significant milestone--full-industry-chain online trading for rare earth magnetic materials.
The exchange's platform now covers 63 rare earth product categories, including rare earth oxides, rare earth metals, rare earth scrap, auxiliary materials, and NdFeB magnets. With complete coverage from raw materials to finished products, the exchange enables businesses to meet their procurement and sales needs through a one-stop digital solution.
As of the end of April, the Rare Earth Exchange had recorded a trading volume of over 950,000t and a transaction value exceeding RMB10.8 billion (USD1.59 billion), serving a cumulative total of more than 180 upstream and downstream enterprises.
