Zhongwei Xingyang to expand phosphate-based cathode material capacity

Guizhou Zhongwei Xingyang Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. has kicked off environmental impact assessment for its high-end phosphate-based cathode material industrial project.
Located in Bai'anying, Kaiyang, Guiyang, Guizhou, the project entails a total investment of RMB1.8 billion (USD266 million). It will build a new production line with an annual output of 150,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate, together with workshops for high-compacted lithium iron phosphate, supporting facilities and environmental protection installations. The expansion will be carried out within the existing plant premises with no additional land occupation.
