Desheng New Materials approved to build rare earth metals and alloys project

Inner Mongolia Desheng New Materials Co., Ltd. has received approval from the Inner Mongolia Department of Industry and Information Technology to build a 5,000tpa rare earth metals and alloys production line in Urad Front Banner, Bayannur.
With a total investment of about RMB60 million (USD8.72 million), the facility will have annual production capacity of 1,000 tonnes of praseodymium-neodymium mischmetal, 2,000 tonnes of lanthanum-cerium mischmetal, 700 tonnes of cerium metal, 800 tonnes of lanthanum metal, 200 tonnes of ferro-gadolinium, and 300 tonnes of ferro-dysprosium. Construction of the production line is expected to take 24 months.
