Qinghai Yanhu posts solid annual lithium carbonate production and sales

Qinghai Yanhu Industry Co., Ltd. posted operating revenue of RMB15.5 billion (USD2.24 billion) in 2025, rising 2.43% year-on-year, according to its annual report.
During the year, lithium carbonate production reached 46,500 tonnes, up 16.35% YoY, while sales grew 9.66% YoY to 45,600 tonnes. In contrast, potassium chloride output edged down 1.21% YoY to 4.90 million tonnes, with sales declining 18.36% YoY to 3.81 million tonnes.
In 2025, the company completed and commissioned a new 40,000tpa lithium salt project, lifting total lithium carbonate capacity to 80,000tpa.
Looking ahead, Qinghai Yanhu is targeting significant expansion by 2030, with planned annual capacities of 10 million tonnes of potash fertilizer, 200,000 tonnes of lithium salts, and more than 30,000 tonnes of magnesium and magnesium-based materials.
