JL MAG posts record rare earth magnet sales in 2025

JL MAG Rare-Earth Co., Ltd. reported annual operating revenue of RMB7.72 billion (USD1.12 billion) in 2025, with core business revenue reaching RMB7.03 billion (USD1.02 billion), up 14.11% and 19.00% YoY respectively, both setting new records.
The company operated five manufacturing bases across Ganzhou, Baotou and Ningbo, with high-performance rare earth magnet capacity reaching 40,000 tonnes per year, and the utilization rate exceeded 90%. The company also recycled 3,681 tonnes of rare earth compound during the year, based on an annual recycling capacity of 5,000 tonnes.
Maintaining its leading position in the rare earth magnet sector, the company achieved record sales volumes. It produced about 34,400 tonnes of magnet blank, up 17.31% YoY, and the annual sales of finished magnet reached 25,300 tonnes, up 21.25% YoY.
Looking ahead, Phase III of the Baotou project is progressing well, with capacity to be released in stages. Total magnet capacity is expected to reach 60,000 tonnes per year by the end of 2027.
