Yahua Group signs five-year spodumene concentrate offtake agreement

Sichuan Yahua Industrial Group Co., Ltd. has signed an offtake and sales agreement with Brazil's MGLIT Empreendimentos Ltda., under which it will procure spodumene concentrate from MGLIT for a period of five years following the project's stable production.
Under the agreement, MGLIT will supply no less than 120,000 dry metric tonnes of spodumene concentrate per contract year. The minimum purchase price is set at USD1,000/dry metric tonne, based on a 6% Li2O grade, with adjustments linked to actual lithium oxide content.
Yahua Group said the agreement will strengthen multi-channel resource security for its lithium salt production.
