Guangxi Hongwang commissions 450ktpa galvanizing line

On March 18, Guangxi Hongwang New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. commissioned its No.1 continuous hot-dip galvanizing line, with the first coil of high-quality galvanized steel rolling off the line, marking the start of full operations.
The project forms part of the company's broader plan to build an intelligent manufacturing base with annual capacity of 2 million tonnes of high-performance silicon steel and premium galvanized products. Phase I includes two 1,550 mm galvanizing lines, each with annual capacity of 450,000 tonnes, targeting high-end applications in the automotive and home appliance sectors. The No.2 hot-dip zinc-aluminum-magnesium (Zn-Al-Mg) coating line was brought online in September 2025.
The newly commissioned No.1 line is designed to produce high-quality galvanized steel in thicknesses of 0.4-2.5mm and widths of 800-1,550mm. Its product portfolio covers CQ, DQ, DDQ and high-strength structural grades, supporting growing demand from automotive manufacturing and appliance panel applications.
