Shaowu Yongtai plans LiPF6 capacity expansion and new lithium additive project

Shaowu Yongtai Hi-Tech Materials Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Zhejiang Yongtai Technology Co., Ltd., plans to invest RMB820 million (USD119 million) in two lithium battery materials projects.
The company will spend RMB550 million (USD80.1 million) to upgrade and expand its existing lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF6) facilities, raising capacity from about 18,000tpa to 50,000tpa of LiPF6 (solid salt). Construction is scheduled from March 2026 to December 2027.
In addition, Shaowu Yongtai plans to invest RMB270 million (USD39.32 million) to build a 5,000tpa new lithium replenishment additive project at Jintang Industrial Park in Shaowu, Fujian. Construction is expected to run from June 2026 to December 2028. The project aims to further strengthen the company's lithium battery materials value chain.
