The State Administration for Market Regulation, China's top market regulator, has approved the construction of the country's first national quality inspection and testing center for rare earth permanent magnet motors, to be established at Shenyang University of Technology.
The center will support testing needs in emerging sectors including new energy vehicles, wind power equipment, CNC machine tools and robotics, rail transit, and low-altitude equipment. It will provide integrated services covering R&D support, pilot testing and product inspection for companies across the rare earth motor supply chain.
The facility is expected to cut corporate testing costs by more than 20% and shorten product launch cycles by around 30%, strengthening technical support across the product lifecycle.
