Zhongxin Antai begins production at rare earth metals expansion project

Zhongxin Antai, a holding subsidiary of China Northern Rare Earth (Group) High-Tech Co., Ltd., has commenced production at its rare earth metals expansion project, adding capacity of 8,000 tonnes per annum. Once fully operational, the company's annual rare earth metals and alloys output will reach 15,000 tonnes, boosting Northern Rare Earth's production capacity and supply chain stability.
The project also adds new medium- and heavy-rare earth products such as gadolinium-iron, broadening the product mix to meet growing demand for a wider range of high-end rare earth metals and strengthening Northern Rare Earth's market position.
