Shijiazhuang Shangtai Technology Co., Ltd. plans to sign a project investment and development agreement, or a supplementary agreement, with the Management Committee of the Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone and relevant parties for a 200,000-tonne-per-annum lithium-ion battery anode material project.
Shangtai Technology or its subsidiary intends to establish a new entity to invest in the project within the Demonstration Zone in Shanxi Province, using its own or self-raised funds. The total investment is preliminarily estimated at about RMB4.07 billion (USD572 million).
