Hainan Mining starts Phase I production at Bougouni Lithium Mine

On November 3, Hainan Mining Co., Ltd. commenced Phase I production at its Bougouni Lithium Mine in Mali. Located about 180 kilometers south of Bamako, the project's dense media separation (DMS) plant started construction in mid-2024 and produced the first batch of high-grade lithium concentrate in February 2025, with total output now exceeding 45,000 tonnes.
The lithium concentrate is being shipped to the Port of San Pedro in Cote d'Ivoire, with the first export shipment expected by the end of this November. The material will supply Hainan Mining's lithium salt project in China. Meanwhile, planning for a Phase II flotation plant is also underway.
