On October 30, Yichun Economic Development Zone hosted a major signing ceremony for three projects totaling RMB3 billion (USD422 million). Among them, Jiangxi Jiuling Lithium Industry Co., Ltd. will invest RMB2 billion (USD281 million) to build a 30,000-tonne-per-annum lithium carbonate and rubidium-cesium salt comprehensive utilization project.
Jiuling Lithium has already planned a total capacity of 140,000 tonnes of battery-grade carbonate lithium and is committed to the high-value, integrated utilization of global resources, contributing to the world's transition to green energy.
