Shenghe Resources posts strong rare earth metal growth in Q3

Shenghe Resources Holding Co., Ltd. reported an operating revenue of 10.46 billion yuan (147 million US dollars) for the first three quarters of 2025, up 26.9% YoY, including 4.28 billion yuan (602 million US dollars) in Q3, rising 52.6% YoY. Sales of its main rare earth products also increased compared with last year, contributing to higher revenue.
From January to September, the company produced 16,636 tonnes of rare earth oxides, down 13.43% YoY, with sales of 10,917 tonnes, down 7.54% YoY. Rare earth salts output stood at 11,274 tonnes, down 54.12% YoY, while sales reached 6,935 tonnes, down 54.19% YoY. Rare earth metals output rose 12.16% YoY to 20,660 tonnes, with sales jumping 32.89% YoY to 15,639 tonnes. Rare earth concentrates (including monazite) output totaled 12,016 tonnes, down 29.51% YoY, with sales of 15,149 tonnes, down 39.64% YoY.
In July-September period, rare earth oxides output reached 6,007 tonnes, up 18.74% YoY, with sales of 4,341 tonnes, up 9.5% YoY. Rare earth salts output stood at 7,978 tonnes, up 61.66% YoY, while sales declining 59.22% YoY to 2,353 tonnes. Rare earth metals output rose 19.82% YoY to 7,035 tonnes, with sales surging 37.71% YoY to 5,806 tonnes. Rare earth concentrates (including monazite) output was 2,900 tonnes, down 60.25% YoY, with sales of 3,205 tonnes, down 60.77% YoY.
