Jufeng Rare Earth to expand capacity for mixed rare earth chlorides

The Inner Mongolia Department of Industry and Information Technology has approved a rare earth separation capacity expansion project by Jufeng Rare Earth Branch of Baogang Hefa Rare Earth Co., Ltd.
The company plans to upgrade facilities at its existing plants in Baotou's Damao Zero-Carbon Industrial Park to expand processing capacity by 6,000 tonnes (REO) of rare earth concentrate for the production of mixed rare earth chlorides. This expansion is part of a capacity replacement plan and does not add any additional capacity quota. With a total planned investment of RMB102.4 million (USD14.36 million), the project is expected to take eight months to complete construction.
