Huiyang New Energy kicks off synthetic graphite anode material project

On September 16, Huiyang New Energy broke ground on its 20,000-tonne-per-year high-end synthetic graphite anode material production line. With a total investment of RMB467 million (USD65.64 million), the project will feature key processes including pre-carbonization, high-temperature carbonization, and automated finishing. Once fully operational, it is expected to generate RMB800 million (USD112 million) in annual sales revenue, contribute RMB46 million (USD6.47 million) in tax, and create about 200 new jobs.
