Qinghai Yanhu reports higher lithium carbonate output and sales in H1

Qinghai Yanhu Industry Co., Ltd. announced its half-year results for 2025, posting revenue of RMB6.78 billion (USD951 million), down by 6.3% YoY. During the first half, the company produced about 1.99 million tonnes of potassium chloride and 20,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate, while sales reached 1.78 million tonnes of potassium chloride and 20,600 tonnes of lithium carbonate.
H1 lithium carbonate production and sales both increased, reflecting accelerated capacity expansion. Qinghai Yanhu currently has an annual lithium carbonate production capacity of 40,000 tonnes, leading China in lithium extraction from brine. A new 40,000tpa integrated basic lithium salt project is progressing rapidly and is expected to start trial production by the end of this September. Once fully operational, the company's annual lithium carbonate capacity will rise to 80,000 tonnes.
