Lopal Tech plans private placement to fund LFP projects

Jiangsu Lopal Tech Group Co., Ltd. plans to raise up to RMB2 billion (USD279 million) through a private placement to fund two high-performance phosphate-based cathode material projects with capacities of 110,000 tonnes and 85,000 tonnes respectively, as well as to supplement working capital.
In the first half of 2025, the company produced about 78,093 tonnes and sold 78,312 tonnes of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode materials, generating revenue of around RMB2.32 billion (USD322 million), and the average sales price of LFP cathode materials fell 16.7% year-on-year, according to the company's semi-annual report.
