Zangge Lithium ordered to suspend production

On July 16, Zangge Mining's subsidiary, Geermu Zangge Potash Has Co., Ltd., received a notice from Haixi Natural Resources Bureau and Haixi Salt Lake Administration to immediately halt lithium resource development.
Following the notice, its lithium subsidiary, Golmud Zangge Lithium, has suspended production as required. The company is now working to complete the necessary permits and will apply to resume operations once approvals are in place.
In 2025, Zangge Lithium aims to produce and sell 11,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate. In the first half of the year, the company produced about 5,350 tonnes and sold 4,470 tonnes of lithium carbonate.
