Ruizhi New Materials breaks ground on graphite anode project

On June 13, Gansu Ruizhi New Materials Co., Ltd. began construction on its lithium battery material project with an annual production capacity of 60,000 tonnes of graphite anode. As a subsidiary of Hunan Youre Technology Co., Ltd., Ruizhi now achieves first large-scale application of Youre's Y-ECO graphitization furnace technology worldwide.
With a total investment of approximately RMB1.42 billion (USD198 million), the project will be built in two phases on a 97-Mu (6.47 hectares) site and is scheduled to begin trial production in Q1 2026. Once fully operational, it is expected to generate annual revenue of around RMB600 million (USD83.56 million) and contribute RMB36 million (USD5.01 million) in tax revenue, and would help create 200 jobs, boosting the local advanced materials industry and related sectors.
