Asia's largest lithium deposit identified in Sichuan

Recently, the Dangba lithium mine located in Malkang, Sichuan has passed the mineral resource reserve review and filing by the Ministry of Natural Resources. The mine's lithium oxide resources increased by 440,000 tonnes, bringing the total identified resources to 1.12 million tonnes, making it the first granite-pegmatite lithium deposit in Sichuan Province with lithium oxide resources exceeding one million tonnes. Furthermore, it now stands as the largest known granite-pegmatite lithium deposit in Asia.
