Jiangxi Shenghua commissions first LFP production line

On September 19, Jiangxi Shenghua New Material Co., Ltd. put into operation the first LFP production line of a 200,000tpa lithium iron phosphate and associated material project.
The project, consisting of two phases, will build six production lines with a total LFP production capacity of 75,000tpa in the first phase, which is expected to begin hot-commissioning in late September and have the first production line in formal operation by mid-October before all six lines become operational by the end of this year.
Construction is also on track for the second phase which will add production capacity of 75,000 tonnes of cathode material for lithium battery, according to the company.
