NAMCO commissions new factory for exhaust gas catalysts

On September 13, Neo Jiahua Advanced Materials (Zibo) Co., Ltd. (NAMCO) announced the commissioning of its new factory in Jinshan County, with an annual production capacity of 8,000 tonnes of high-performance exhaust gas purification catalysts.
The company invested RMB500 million (USD70.49 million) in the new factory, which covers an area of 100 Mu (6.67hectares) and is expected to achieve an annual production value of nearly RMB1.1 billion (USD155 million).
NAMCO is one of the world's top R&D and manufacturing bases for rare earth application and deep-processing products, and it is also the largest factory for exhaust gas catalyst globally, with more than 90% of its products sold to Europe, America and other international markets, and it has grabbed a global market share of more than 25%, ranking second globally. When the new factory reaches full capacity, NAMCO expects to become the biggest supplier of exhaust gas catalysts in the world with a market share of over 40%.
